Pothos (Epipremnum aureum)

One of the most popular houseplants, pothos plants (AKA Devil's Ivy) are prized for their climbing & trailing foliage. Pothos is considered to be one of the most effective air purifying indoor plants.
A must-have for any plant collection, there are several popular varieties including: the rich green golden pothos, the bright yellow/green neon pothos, & the white/green variegated marble queen pothos.
CAUTION: Do not consume - plant is toxic for humans & pets

Meet Your Facilitator: Kim J
​
With a lifelong love of plants & a history with clinical anxiety management, Kim brings over a decade of experience and education to The Plant Space. She is formally trained in botanical research, horticulture/gardening, & recently, horticulture therapy. She has worked professionally in the education space including student psychological services & is thrilled to bring it all together to help others navigate these stressful times. Kim is in the process of registering with the Canadian Horticulture Therapy Association as a Horticulture Therapy Technician (HTT) & is Vice-President of the Friends of the Acadian Forest, a volunteer organization with The Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.
