the story so far...
"I think I've always loved plants. When I was 4, I had an odd habit of collecting cacti named "Ed". I might not have known how to keep them alive, but I did know that they made me happy. I've been chasing this feeling ever since.

I'd tried to follow my passion, but in the middle of an advanced degree in plant biology I was on a path to failure. Confused, I turned to the corporate world but it only accelerated my burnout. With no office window & endless stress, the only one thriving in the fluorescent lights was my desk pothos.

I knew 2 things: I needed to choose my health & I needed to find my way back to plants. I googled my way into the world of horticulture therapy & discovered a scientifically proven way to feel better with plants and there it was: that feeling.

It's been a long road of learning & healing, but I'm proud to finally be in a place to share The Plant Space with you. As you go on your own journey be kind to yourself, know that your stress is valid, & know that I'm here, armed with emotional support plants, to help you through 🪴"
